Illustration + Graphic Design

More than album covers

Recording and performing music is hard enough on its own--and with our culture putting more and more emphasis on self-promotion and marketing, its more important than ever to have an experienced and designer in your corner, so you can do what you actually signed up to do--play! I've worked with many top-shelf musicians and artists over the years to create outstanding packaging that perfectly compliments what they've worked so hard to create. Give me a call for album art that looks just as good as your record sounds!

CAITY GYORGY

Featuring (2022)

This thirteen-track record earned Canadian singer Caity Gyorgy her second Juno Award for Best Vocal Jazz album in 2022! With 11 of 13 tracks penned by Caity herself, this record is an absolute delight to listen to, and it was a pleasure to illustrate.

The Artist's Artist

As a musician myself, I've spent almost as much time analyzing and poring over record covers as I have listening to them.

When you hire me to design your record or marketing for your next gig, you can count on my extensive knowledge of not just graphic design and illustration principles and techniques, but their applications within the music world. Ever wonder what makes a Blue Note cover tick, or how it differs from a Cellar Live cover? How does a CD reverse differ from a vinyl reverse? Or how a couple typefaces manage to sketch out the look of an entire genre? Attention to these seemingly tiny details has the power to transform your record from simply 'good' to "HELL yeah, man!' Think I'm your gal? Drop me a line, and let's talk!
